  I have worked with Ryn Lee for ten years, and I have seen the amount of dedication she puts into helping each of her students reach his or her potential. I see this dedication not only in her giving her students regular lessons through the years but also through her involving them in competitions, auditions, examinations, studio recitals, and non-competitive events including festivals. In preparation for these events, Ms. Lee holds master classes as well as smaller clinics where her students perform for each other and for other established piano teachers to receive constructive criticism. She also holds studio classes to review music theory and history through interactive activities including “Jeopardy”-style games. Ms. Lee has written recommendation letters for her students’ admission into private secondary schools, and she had helped one of her students put on a solo benefit concert to raise funds for an international charity organization. Ms. Lee maintains her relationships with her former students who are currently in or have finished college. I have seen firsthand and can confidently say that choosing Ms. Lee for piano study will afford you with not only a good piano teacher but can also open up the possibility of having a lifelong mentor and friend.
